Program Description

   Objective: Build Team Work, Motivation and Fine-Tune Interpersonal Skills on our s/v PARADISO with thrilling recreational activities as well as gaining a refreshing outlook towards co-workers. Keys to job satisfaction and team performance. Sailing is a sport that requires plenty of proper planning, attention to detail, effective communication and teamwork. Not to be surprised, the same ingredients needed to be successful in business.

   We let you leave your meetings and electronic gadgets behind to enjoy an exhilarating day!  It won't feel like work, but we'll help hone such skills with finesse while you learn the mind bending sport of sailing.  Some of the skills you'll sharpen from an SVI Team Building Program:

· Careful Planning: You'll help plot a course for sailing and successfully achieve in sailing a 15,OOO ton vessel  from point A to point B.

· Teamwork:  Individual jobs such as helmsman (woman), navigator, trimmers and deck hands must be done properly to ensure a smooth sail.

· Clear Communication: To accomplish your selected mission, precise, continuous & clear communication between team leader and crew must be kept. All get to lead.

· Performance Under Pressure:  Split-second timing is required due to wind shifts.

 

Drive to Win: You'll also race against other team personal best times, putting your new found skills to the test.

   Armed with an MBA from a reputable university and more than 25 years managing high performance/ diverse teams in Puerto Rico and in the US, your Managing Director is a flexible resource who will synch with you or your business consultants to design a program that achieves all of your objectives.  We offer three custom-designed Phases to meet your specific goals: Phase I, The “Tripusol”: A full day of team building. Pure fun. Phase I+II, The Challenger A two day program with sailing brief and a mission. Phase I,II+III, The Right Stuff: Full 3 day sail with extensive sail and two team building missions, lunches included. Missions available: Waypoint Race, Lost (Search & Rescue)  & Treasure Hunt (Could be in Coordination with your Designated Consultant).
